Born October 3, 1943 in Cardin, Oklahoma, she attended school in Renton, Washington and graduated from Neosho High School in Neosho, Missouri. She attended cosmetology school and became a hairdresser, then spent many years in retail and convenience store management. Even in retirement Linda, continued to manage and maintain several rental properties and found joy in providing affordable housing in her community.

Linda was a member of Southside Assembly of God Church where she served in the women's ministry and as the church secretary. Linda was a member of NARF and enjoyed game nights and dinners with her friends, including Billie Ripple, among many others.

Her favorite titles were Mom and Grandma and Aunt Linda. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her world. Linda instilled honesty, fairness, work ethic and kindness into her family. Sharing traditions of making the turkey and pies for Thanksgiving, decorating the Christmas tree, watching ballgames, dance competitions and taekwondo and countless games of hide and seek with her grandchildren and great grandchildren were some of her best memories.

Linda was preceded in death by husband Merylin Colvin, father John Daniels, mother Ruth Daniels, brother Luke Daniels, sister Norma Himmelsbach, brother Les Daniels, stepchildren Opal Gregory and Tony Colvin.

Linda is survived by her brother Jim Daniels (Joplin, MO), daughter Laura Haygood, son Melvin James Gregory (Jamie), son in law Todd Haygood and daughter in law Tammy Gregory (OKC, OK). Grandchildren Lindsay Harris and husband Kevin Harris of (OKC, OK, Matthew Gregory and fiancé Hannah Sledge of Shawnee, OK Brandy Warehime and husband Jake Warehime of Weatherford, OK and Katie Gregory of OKC, OK. Great grandchildren Daxton Harris, Olivia Harris, Abigail Gregory and Lyla Kate Harris.

Linda was also survived by Melvin Gregory & Family of Elizabethtown, KY, Dora Sue Johnson & Family of Carl Junction, MO, Lana O'Dell & Family of Nevada, MO, Tana Uttinger & Family of Nevada, MO, the Colvin grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
