Bob Collins, 74, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on August 5, 2013 peacefully in his sleep.

The memorial service will be held at New Life Bible Church 4343 N. Flood Norman, OK 73069 info@nlbc.org at 11:00 am. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Havenbrook Funeral Home

Bob was born in Oklahoma City on April 23, 1939. He graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City.

Bob was married to his high school sweetheart Pat Collins (Wetwiska) on June13, 1957; they were married 56 years. Bob was a Captain on the Oklahoma City Fire Department and lead diver for the underwater rescue and recovery squad. Upon retiring from the Fire Department with 20 years service in 1978 Bob worked as a roofing contractor before retiring in 2010. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his grandkids and family.

Bob is survived by his wife Pat, his two sons, Scott Collins and his wife Betty of Dallas, Texas, Steve Collins and his wife Kristin of Norman, Oklahoma, and his 3 grandchildren Kelsy Collins, Taylor Collins, and Alexa Lee-Dennis Bob is preceded in death by his parents, C.B. "Rip" Collins and Wanza Collins as well as his sister, Ann Duffy.
