55, passed away Monday, February 21, 2011 in Norman, Oklahoma. Robert was born
May 12, 1955 in Ada, Oklahoma to Fred and Jessie (Burdine) Butler. He was
married to Vicky Stanford on August 4, 1979 in Fittstown, Oklahoma.
Robert graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1980 with a degree in
petroleum engineering and worked for Crawley Petroleum for the past 24 years.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles and taking trips with close friends on his
Harley. His favorite trips were to Colorado and Eureka Springs. He enjoyed
watching OU football and spending time with his family. He loved his pets.
Robert is survived by his wife, Vicky of the home; mother, Jessie Butler of Ada,
Oklahoma; son, R. Joel Butler of Norman, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by
his father, Fred Butler and daughter, Lensey N. Butler.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 24, 2011 in the Chapel of
Havenbrook Funeral Home, Norman, Oklahoma with interment following at
Sunset Memorial Park, Norman,
under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home.
