She was
born October 23, 1956 in Toledo, Ohio to Clarence and Margaret (Baumgardner)
Middleton.
Kim grew up in different locations throughout the United States and
Germany. She graduated from Lawton High School in 1974 and attended
Southwestern Oklahoma State University as a Biology major,
graduating in 1978. She married Darwin Hoyt Burcham on May 26, 1978
and worked at Duncan Regional Hospital as a medical technologist.
Kim was also a frequent volunteer for the Buda Public Library in
Buda, Texas. Kim was an avid birdwatcher and participated in the
Feeder Watch program through Cornell University; her favorite bird
was the chickadee. Her other interests included sewing and cross
stitching.
Kim is survived by her husband,
Hoyt Burcham; her daughters Melissa (Burcham) Anderson and Stacy
Burcham; her son in law Andrew Anderson; her sister Annette Coffman
and brother in law Randy Coffman; her brother James Middleton and
sister in law Kristi Middleton; nephew Marcus Middleton and niece
Serena Middleton.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 3-8 pm at Havenbrook
Funeral Home in Norman.
Funeral services will be begin at 2:00 pm on
Friday, May 26th , 2017 at the
Sunset Memorial Park
Chapel, 2301 E Indian Hills Rd in Norman with
interment following.
Arrangements for Kim Burcham and her family were placed in the care
of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
