Ada Marie Brown, 85, of Harrah, Oklahoma, has departed this world to be called home on Monday, January 21, 2019. Ada was born September 26, 1933, to Roger Guy McConnell and Dovie Joycie McConnell (Flippo) in Waldron, Arkansas.

Ada’s ultimate passion was bowling; she spent many years playing in a league. However, among all of her hobbies, she it loved most when she got to spend time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, Roger McConnell; mother, Dovie McConnell; her husband, Charlie Joe Brown of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and all five of her brothers and two of her sisters.

Ada is survived by; daughter, JoAnn Abbott and husband Butch Abbott of Tuttle, Oklahoma; son, Russell Brown and wife Christina Brown of Huntington Beach, California; son, Jerry Brown of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and daughter, Christine Stephens and husband Derrick Stephens of Midwest City, Oklahoma; sister, Thelma Davis and husband L.D. Davis of Omaha, Texas; sister, Casey Cameron of Largo, Florida; grandchildren, Tony Abbott and Stephanie Thompson, Freddy Brown, Carl Kitsmiller, Corey Kitsmiller, Sebastian Stephens, and Kendall Stephens; great grandchildren, Katie Brown, Haley Brown, Hunter Brown, Skylar Thompson, Carolyn Kitsmiller, and Elizabeth Kitsmiller.
