Warren; Thomas “Jack” 90, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012
in Norman, Oklahoma. Jack was born January 21, 1922 in
Burkburnet, Texas to Paul and Marie (Chancellor) Warren. He was
united in marriage to Lois M. Tullius on June 12, 1943 at the
Santa Ana AFB, California.
Jack retired as Lt. Col. after 26 years in the United States Air
Force. The Warrens returned to Norman, Oklahoma in 1967, where
he and his wife owned and operated the Warren Plaster Crafts
Shop. He and Lois then worked together in real estate for 13
years. After traveling throughout the United States they
relocated to Corpus Christi, Texas, where they lived for 21
years. Jack and Lois moved back to Norman in January 2012 to be
closer to their children.
Jack is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lois; four sons, Larry
and wife April of Norman, Randy and wife Nita of Norman, Ricky
and wife Cindy of Yukon, Thomas Scott and wife Elizabeth of
Vancouver, WA; six daughters, Penny Dabbs and husband Ken of
OKC, Terri Givens and husband Scott of Richardson, TX, Carol
Peddy Pappas and husband Jon of Coppell, TX, Sandra Warren of
OKC, Gina Warren of Phoenix, AZ and Donna Renteria and husband
Robert of Dallas, TX; 19 grandchildren and 14 great
grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his
son, Jack Michael Warren in 1980; and his brother, Leroy Warren.
Contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Cemetery Fund, St.
Joseph Women’s Club Scholarship Fund in memory of Jack and his
son Jack Michael at 421 E. Acres, Norman, Oklahoma 73071 or
charity of your choice. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. - 8:00
p.m., Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Havenbrook Funeral Home. Prayer
Vigil service will be held 6:30 p.m., Monday, March 19, 2012 in
the Chapel of the Havenbrook Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March
20, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 211 N. Porter, Norman
with interment following
in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements for Jack
and his family were placed in the care of the Vice family at the
Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman. Online condolences may be
