Loeffelholz, Delores Ann, 79, of Norman, OK passed away April 30, 2016.
Delores was born on September 7, 1936 in Norman to J.J. and Helen Meyer. Delores attended and graduated from St. Joseph High School; she married Eugene Loeffelholz on June 28, 1955 and was married for 43 years. Delores worked for C.R. Anthony’s-Stage Stores for 36 years and was a bookkeeper for the Meyer Pump Service for 40 years. Delores was also a lifelong member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Golden Agers. Her love of “saving a dollar” made her always obtain the best deal. She was an avid coupon shopper; and many times left the grocery store with them owing her money. Delores also loved to play cards and dominoes, especially the Wednesday night Chicken Foot domino game.
Delores is survived by her daughter, Deborah Sheffield and husband, Rob of San Antonio, TX; her son, Steve Loeffelholz and wife, Robin of Norman, OK; special friend, Larry Hartman; sister, Evelyn Pomering of Conroe, TX; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents; son, John M. Loeffelholz; two sisters, Donna Lambert and Mary L. Pomering and three brothers, William D. Meyer, J. Ray Meyer and Carol K. Meyer.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Chapel in the St. Joseph Parish Family Life Center located at 421 E. Acres St. with burial to follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
Services are under the care of Havenbrook Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, Delores would prefer a donation to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Norman, OK.
