Kantowski, Michael Kent left this world Friday, September 9,
2011. He lived his life giving joy to everyone he knew, and was
beloved by his family and friends. In his career as a
Respiratory Therapist, he helped give comfort and life-saving
care to those in physical and emotional need. He was a good man
and will be greatly missed on this earth.
Michael was born in Oklahoma City, February 17, 1958. He grew
up in Norman, Oklahoma attending Norman schools and graduating
from Norman High School. He attended the University of Oklahoma
and received an Associate's Degree as a Certified Respiratory
Therapist from Francis Tuttle Vo-Tech.
Michael passed away from natural causes. He was a loving
brother to three sisters, Sandra Carroll Amburn of Norman,
Charlotte Howard of Dallas, Patti Bugg of Houston and three
brothers, Joe Kantowski of Lawton, Leo Kantowski of Tulsa, and
Lance Kantowski of Dallas. He also was Uncle Mike to nieces
Leslie Bolinger, Lisa Kantowski, Michelle Howard, and nephews
Brian Carroll, Thomas Kantowski, Lee Kantowski and John
Kantowski.
Michael will be buried with his deceased parents, Marion Lee and
Delphine Kantowski, in a graveside memorial for immediate
family, 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 17, 2011 in the
St. Joseph Catholic
Cemetery of Norman. Arrangements for Michael and his
family were placed in the care of the Vice Family at Havenbrook
Funeral Home of Norman.
A reception will be held for friends and family from 11:30 a.m.
- 12:30 p.m., Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Havenbrook Funeral
Home Event Center, 3401 Havenbrook St., Norman
