Torey Travis Russell 40 years old from Choctaw, OK passed away on November 9, 2020 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City due to complications of Corona Virus. Torey Travis was born on January 10, 1980 at Midwest City Hospital in Midwest City, Oklahoma to his parents Linda Tucker and James Russell. Torey Travis came into the world a little bit early as a surprise gift to the world as he was a hidden twin sharing the womb with his brother Corey Russell.

He married his best friend, Karra Russell on June 11, 2016 and was a thoughtful, giving, and adoring husband. His blue eyes and gentle nature stole her heart. He was always thinking and taking care of others. He was so proud to be called uncle Travis and adored his nieces and nephews and loved spending time with his mom, dad and siblings. He had so many dreams and aspirations. He wanted to travel and one day visit Rome, Italy. He wanted to go to culinary school and be a chef at his own family restaurant. He wanted to drive a 1967 Camaro. He and Eli were going to build a big shop in the backyard and fix his truck.

He dreamed of opening a restaurant one day. Above all else he loved spending quality time with his loved ones. He enjoyed going to concerts, rodeos, antique stores, and just having new and fun experiences in life. He always soaked it up. His favorite thing to do with the boys was floating the river and going to the lake. He dreamed of taking them fishing and hunting. He also loved sharing his wisdom, cheerful attitude, and love for life with the boys. He was an amazing parent and loving father figure to them.

Torey loved his family, singing and cooking. Torey had a beautiful voice and loved a good country western song. He loved to cook and bake and was excellent at it. He made and decorated Lincoln's first birthday cake. On the weekends Karra worked he would bake something for her and bring it to her work to share with her co-workers.

Torey is survived by his wife, Karra Russell and three boys Elijah, Ian, and Lincoln; his mom Linda and stepdad, Tim Tucker; his sister, Melissa Jenkins and husband Coby; sister, Darla Hodges and husband Curt; sister, Jamie Crouch and husband Tim; sister, Lorie Sego and husband Mike; his brother, Dustin and wife Jamie; his twin brother Corey; and many nieces and nephews.

Torey was preceded in death by his dad, James Russell.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at Ford Funeral Service. A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2020.
