Thomas Lannigan, 81, of Carnegie, Okla. passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the Carnegie Tri-County Municipal Hospital in Carnegie.

He was born September 23, 1929, in Park Falls, Wis. He was bridge contractor for the state of Oklahoma. He was a Master Mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Marjorie (Giblin) Lannigan; his first wife, Doris; second wife, Billie; two brothers, Gene and Dewey Lannigan, Jr.; and a stepson, Dean Goergen.

He is survived by three sons, Johnnie Chris Goergen and wife Dianne, of Louisville, Texas, Thomas E. Lannigan, of Poteau, Randel G. Goergen, of Broken Arrow; one daughter, Julie Lannigan Reid, of Poteau; one step-daughter-in-law, Marilyn Goergen, of Carnegie; ten grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one brother, Dr. David Lannigan and wife Sue, of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; one sister, Pat Mitchell and husband Dick, of Eagle River, Wis.; numerous other relatives, friends and loved ones.

Funeral services will be conducted December 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Ray and Martha's Funeral Home Chapel in Carnegie. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City.

Ray and Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie is in charge of arrangements.
