Renae Harmon age 60, of Blanchard, OK passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 2, 1955 in Oklahoma City, OK.

She was the oldest of five children born to Leslie James Scott and Patsy Sue (Lewis) Scott. Renae grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Western Heights High School until the 11th grade. She then attended Del City High School where she graduated with the class of 1972. Renae was united in marriage to Jackie Lindell Harmon on June 2, 1972, and from this union was born two children, Shari and Aric. Renae attended Oklahoma City Community College and became a licensed paramedic. For five years she worked for the ambulance service in Elk City and in Oklahoma City. Then in 1987, she started working for Hillcrest Hospital in South OKC. She worked there until 2002, at that time she had to retire due to her poor health. Renae and Jackie moved to the Bridgecreek area in 1988. She attended Hillcrest Height Baptist Church in Oklahoma City for fifteen years, Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Blanchard for five years and since 2001 she has attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Blanchard. Renae enjoyed crocheting, reading her bible, cooking, scrapbooking and doing arts and crafts. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, daughter, mother and grandmother. She was also a special sister, aunt and cousin. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by: Her mother, Patsy Sue Scott in 1974; Father, Leslie Scott in 2009;

She leaves behind: Her husband, Jackie Harmon of the home; Daughter, Shari Harmon, Oklahoma City; Son, Aric Harmon and wife Larena of Del City, OK; Stepmother, JoAnn Scott of Forest Lake, MN; Two sisters, Patti Wommer and husband David of Edmond, OK, Elaine Klemme and husband David of Oklahoma City; Two brothers, Bradley Scott and wife Bridgette of Woodstock, GA, James Scott and wife Debbie of Hammond, OK; Four step sisters, Cathy Hinson and husband Sam of Jones, OK, Gina Reese and husband Chuck of Forest Lake, MN, Shelly Williams and husband Charles of Elk City, OK, Sheila Mwangi of Enid, OK; six grandchildren, Kyla Harmon, Kaleigha Harmon, Kambraya Harmon, Ryah Harmon, Jynah Harmon and Lonah Harmon. Also several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Blanchard. Interment will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens in South OKC. Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Newcastle.
