Bonnie Grover, 84, of Purcell, OK passed away Friday, January 15, 2016.

Bonnie Jo Bates was born December 18, 1931 in Noble, OK, the youngest child born to Joseph Alexander Bates and Chrissie Leona (Black) Bates. Raised on a farm, she grew up in the Noble area and attended school there. Bonnie married her greatest love and husband of 66 years, Neal Jennings Grover on August 4, 1948 in Noble. They made their home in Norman where together they raised two children, son Ronnie and daughter, Peggy. While her passion was that of being a mother, she also enjoyed working at Brown's, caring for her mother-in-law and working at Norman Regional Hospital in both the radiology and pharmacy departments. Bonnie cherished her family and especially enjoyed being a grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, working Thomas Kincade puzzles, learning about jewelry and spending time in God's word. Bonnie was a Christian and strived daily to live for her Lord and Savior. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by: Her husband, Neal Jennings Grover; Great grandson, Maddox; Her parents, Joseph and Chrissie Bates; Brothers, Frank Bates and infant brother.

Bonnie leaves behind: Her daughter, Peggy Hill and husband Curtis of Lexington; Her son, Ronnie Grover and wife Carol of Newcastle; 5 grandchildren, Greg Grover and wife Kris of Newcastle, Gina Morgan and husband Brandon of Newcastle, Kristy Brock and husband Rick of Purcell, Teresa Caldwell and husband Kevin of Lexington and Curtis Hill and wife Melissa of Lexington; 14 great grandchildren, Coy, Ashley, Nicole, Kaitlyn, Tim and wife Rebecca, Matt and wife Tori, Trent, Zack, Jake, Justin, Lexi, Ross, Caden and Greenlee; 2 great great grandchildren, Spencer and Cooper and A host of other family and friends. Services will be 1:00p.m., Monday, January 18, 2015 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home, Purcell, OK. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Okla. City.
