John Oliver Blurton was born in Garber, Oklahoma, September 8, 1926 and passed away August 1, 2003 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years.
Oliver spent his childhood in the Crawford Community and attended Crawford School. The Blurton's lived on a farm near the town of Crawford. Later, they made their home in Oklahoma City.
Services were held Thursday, August 7, 2003 at the Portland Avenue Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, officiated by Dr. J. P. Dane and Dr. Walter Mullican. Interment followed in the Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary.
