Longtime Moore resident Fannie Sue Fabian Winters passed away July 25, 1998, of a heart attack at her home at 900 N. Janeway, where she had lived 34 years with her husband, Jerry Winters.
Born February 23, 1933, in Oklahoma City, Winters attended Roosevelt Junior High and Central High School in Oklahoma City. She worked at "The Times Journal" and other binderies making school books and also was employed at The Moore American and Penny Pincher with her daughter, Susie, for 11 years.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years; one daughter, Susie Whatley and husband: of Moore; one grandson, Rodney Butler and his wife Aimee; one granddaughter, Shannon Dunn and husband Jerry of Elmore city; two great -grandsons, Ryan Butler of Moore and Jerry Dunn III of Elmore City; step - grandsons Shawn and Brent Watley, both of Oklahoma City's; step son Mark Harmon and wife Vickie; grandsons Chris and Jeremy; granddaughter Missy of San Antonio, Texas; and stepson James Harmon and granddaughter of Boston, Massachusetts.
She is also survived by one brother, Otto Fabian of Choctaw; nephew Jamies Fabian and wife Susie; niece Shelley Daniels and husband Bill and children of Midwest City; three sisters - in -law, Vivian and Lewis Colley of Oklahoma City, Linda and Bill Maness of El Reno and Wanell and Emitt Wilmoth of Crescent, and many nephews and nieces.
Services were held Monday, July 27, at Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of Vondel L. Smith and Son Mortuary with the Rev. Barry Brown officiating.
