Claude William "Bill" Rutterford, age 73, of Oklahoma City, passed away on March 5, 2008 in Midwest City, OK.

He was born on July 19, 1934 in Colorado Springs, CO to Charles L. Rutterford and Betty E. [Britain] Rutterford.

He was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity at the University of Oklahoma where he graduated with a BBA degree in 1957. While attending OU, he met his wife, Carol Robison, and was married June 14, 1958 in Tulsa, OK.

He was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.

Bill retired from Dane & Associates in 2003, where he had worked as Treasurer since 1979. He enjoyed golfing with friends and family, OU football, and spending time landscaping and gardening his five acres.

He is survived by his wife, Carol two sons, Chuck Rutterford and wife Molly of Tulsa, OK and Bob Rutterford of Oklahoma City, OK. ;two grandchildren, Courtney of Moore, OK, Cameron of Tulsa, OK and other family member and friends.

Bill was "one of a kind" for those who knew him, and he will be hard to forget. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m, Monday, March 10, 2008, at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City, OK.
