Police spokesmen say James Percival, age 21 of Moore, died of an accidental shooting on September 9, 1993. According to the police, he died after playing with a hand gun, pointing it to his head and pulling the trigger at 1:10 a.m. that day. According to a witness, he did not intend to shoot himself.
He was taken to Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City and was pronounced dead on arrival. This is the third shooting in Moore in 2 weeks and none are related.
