Jason Darryl Owens was born July 23, 1984 in Oklahoma City to Steven and Rebecca Wilson Owens. He died peacefully on January 30, 2018. Jason graduated from Westmoore High School in 2006.
He loved to watch Nascar racing, Thunder basketball games, or almost any sport on TV with his dad. He was the biggest OU and Dallas Cowboys fan.
Affectionately known as one of the "Owens boys" or just "the boys," Jason was preceded in death by his beloved younger brother, Matthew. He is survived by his parents, Steven and Rebecca Owens of Oklahoma City; grandparents: DeWayne and Katie Owens of Moore, and Marc and Sue Wilson of Pencil Bluff, AR; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and his dog, Bella. The family would like to especially thank his caregivers over the years: Laurie, Casey, Erica, Jill, Tina, and Jay. Our “little buddy” will be missed.
A memorial ceremony will be held 10:00am Saturday, February 3, 2018 in the Chapel at Resthaven. Memorial contributions may be made to The Children’s Center, 6800 NW 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK 73008.
