Elvin Harold Murphy, Sr., 82, passed away on July 22, 2015 in Oklahoma
City.
Elvin was born to N.B. (Pat) and Emma (Carter) Murphy on March 13,
1933 in Fillmore, Oklahoma. Elvin was an Army veteran, serving during
the Korean Conflict. Elvin worked as a baggage agent for Union Bus
Station until his retirement. Elvin enjoyed thrift store shopping and
junk sales, he especially loved spending time with his family.
Elvin is
survived by his wife Rae; son, Harold Murphy, Jr.; daughters, Diane
Currier and husband Randy, Elaine Caisse, and Marilyn Willison and
husband Don; grandchildren, Michelle Sadler, Tim Cox and wife Sharon,
Mallory Childress and husband Dan, Andrew Waltenburg, and Elizabeth
Willison; great grandchildren, Tanner Cox, and Roselyn Childress;
brother Hop Murphy; sisters Molly, Glenda Taylor, and Etta Hannickel.
He
