Florene Moore, 85, of Midwest City and former owner of Dicks Drive In, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010. She was born March 10, 1925 in Ryan, Oklahoma the daughter of Richard and Lula Mae (Brock) Bertram.
Florene grew up in the Duncan, OK area with her sister Mary Lou and brother Dick. Florene was a graduate of St. Mary's high school in Lawton.
She married Ezman Ardinal Moore in July of 1941 and stayed on the go raising their seven children: Jim, Susan, Ardie, Floyd, Dianne, Robert and Mary.
Florene enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, sewing and spending time with all of her 'favorites'.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Ezman; parents; a grandson, Anthony; a great grandson, Levi and sister, Mary Lou Heath.
She is survived by her children: Jim and wife Linda, Susan, Ardie and wife Bridgett, Floyd and wife Laura, Dianne, Robert and wife Jana and Mary and husband Benny; 12 grandchildren: Carrie, Jim, Mike, Vickie, Brandy, Adam, Aaron, Matthew, Amy, Dustin, Corey and Kayla; 14 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; brother, Dick and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 8 am- 8 pm Thursday, May 6 at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, May 7, 2010 at Resthaven Memory Gardens; 500 S.W. 104th; Oklahoma City.
