Jerry Lavon Miller was born in Lubbock Texas on November 20, 1948 to Willard and Jeanie G (Walker) Miller.

He graduated from Capital Hill High School in Oklahoma City in 1967 and then joined the U S Army. 

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Jean Cornett; his step father Glen Cornett; Brother Boyd and sister Glenda.
