Caroline Sue Martin, 65 of Midwest City, left this earth September 29, 2009, surrounded by family and friends, for the glory of Heaven.

She was born October 20, 1943 in Oklahoma City. Caroline was an aunt, sister and loyal friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd L. and Maudie M. Martin of Oklahoma City and her brother Floyd E. Martin of Midwest City.

Caroline retired from St. Anthony hospital and enjoyed scrapbooking and teaching her great nieces to cook. Baking cookies with the little girls was one of the things she enjoyed most.

She grew up in Kingston Oklahoma and graduated from Kingston High. She played in the Marching Band. She later attended Rose State College.

Her greatest love was her family and friends. She was always the center of any family celebration. Children loved her and were always comfortable in her arms. She loved her pets and left behind two dogs and two cats.

She is survived by her life-long friend Kathi Canham of Midwest City, sister, Nancy M. Sitton of Oklahoma City, three nieces, Tina Hayden of Oklahoma City, Trista Price of Del City and Nicole Martin of Del City, one nephew Floyd Martin of Oklahoma City, six great nieces, Tristan K. Hayden of Oklahoma City, Sabrina A. Martin of Del City and Taylor A. Martin of Oklahoma City, Hannah M. Price, Jessica M. Bean and Ava G. Bean of Oklahoma City and many friends.

Family would like to receive friends at the funeral home from 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday, October 2, 2009.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 3, 2009, in Barnes Friederich Funeral Home with interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 700 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City.
