Bill Eugene Grizzle, after a short illness, went home to be with His Lord on Saturday, the 18th of January, 2014. Bill was 86 years old and was born on April 13th, 1927 in Norman Oklahoma.
Bill Served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the South Pacific on the U.S.S. Hugh Purvis after which he worked at Tinker Air Force Base as a Machinist and Industrial Engineer where he helped to develop some of the first computer protocols. Upon retirement he started his own business and worked as an Accountant and Realtor. Bill was also a master carpenter and loved nothing better than to be building or fixing something.
One of his and Altha's greatest joys was to travel and they enjoyed that hobby to the full including all family members in the fun as they had opportunity. Bill truly had the gift of service and helped many people along his way but primarily those in his family and church family. We will never forget nor have we taken lightly all of these kindnesses that he and Altha have extended to us all.
If asked about his greatest desire and dearest achievement I feel certain that he would say: "That the circle be unbroken, so that we can all be together once again in the presence of the Lord". To that we reply. We will miss you. But we will see you soon. We will see you soon.
