Walter "Steve" Graham , 72, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2004 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born August 13, 1932 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Julius Walter and Mary Roberta (Sylvia) Graham. Steve served his country in the U.S. Navy and was employed with the FAA as a flight inspector for 38 years before retiring in 1988.

He was a square dance caller and enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and anything outdoors. He especially enjoyed his golfing adventures with his friends, Emory, Stan, and Buddy. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and served in many capacities at his church over the years.

Steve is survived by the love of his life, Shirley; six sons, Dennis Graham and wife Dorothy of Norman, Phillip Graham of OKC, Kenneth Graham and wife Suzanne of OKC, W.S. Graham, Jr. and wife Sherry of OKC, Bobby Norris of Norman, and Gary Norris and wife Audrey of Yukon; eighteen grandchildren, Wayne, Dustin, Daniel, Robert, David, Michelle, Jennifer, Corey, Chad, Lacie, Amy, Jill, Ashley, Joey, Shawn, Tehna, K.J., and Jessica; and six great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Andrews Building Fund, 800 NW 5th, Moore, OK 73160. Visitation for Steve will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 4 P.M., Sunday, September 26, 2004 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Mass services will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 27, 2004 at St. Andrews Catholic Church of Moore where he was a charter member with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
