Services were held May 30, 2020 for long time Del City resident Alice "Joan" Files who passed away May 16, 2020. Born Jan 5, 1933 in Prole, Iowa to Bruce & Ruby Smith.

Joan married Glenn Files and in their 54 years of marriage they raised 2 children Gary and Craig.

Joan was was a friend to all, always lending a listing ear to anyone. She loved gardening, cooking, her soap operas and visiting with neighbors. Most of all her enjoyment came from takeing care of her family each day. And as grandchildren came she never skipped a beat in keeping pace with the little ones.

Joan leaves her sons; Gary & wife Jan, Craig & wife Stephanie, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. A sister Vera and brother David.
