Geraldine Hazel Crews , 93, of Norman passed away Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at the McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church, 419 S. University Blvd., where she was a lifelong member. Arrangements are by Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.

She was born May 5, 1918, in Edmond to Tolford and Emma (Lawson) Patterson. She was united in marriage to Raymond Crews on June 21, 1941, in Edmond.

Geraldine attended Edmond schools and graduated from Central States Teacher's College teaching one year in Granite. She was a Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader while her children were young. Her greatest joy in life was taking care of her children, grandchildren and her husband. Her hobbies included sewing, cooking and making hats. She was a member of Garden Club, Methodist Women's Circle, Quest Club and University Women's Book Club. She was an avid University of Oklahoma basketball fan.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Crews ; brothers, Melburn and Vercil Patterson; and sister, Phyllis Storms.

Survivors include one son, Michael Crews and wife Jennie of Albequerque, N.M.; one daughter, Linda Kaspereit of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Cameron Kaspereit and Ashley Schender and husband Tony, all of Oklahoma City; and one stepgrandchild, Erin Putbrese and husband Cortland of Richmond, Va.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and Wednesday at Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook St.
