Jerry Lynn Carr passed away and peacefully went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2018. He was born on September 2, 1936 in Sulphur, OK to Vernon and Anna Mae Carr.

He lived most of his life in Oklahoma City and graduated from Central High School. On Sept. 9, 1954, he married Yvonne Baker. Jerry was a loving and devoted father of four children, eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Family was always an important part of his life. His joy was taking pictures of his children and grandchildren, along with other family members, at all family gatherings.

Jerry was a veteran of the Air Force National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Yvonne of 62 years, and his parents. He is survived by children: Rickey Carr and wife Jan, Tammy Brakebill and husband Jim, Cindy Baxter, and Gregory Carr and Beverly Gossage. He is also survived by his brother, David Carr and wife Linda, and their sons.

A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held 2pm Thursday, March 22 in the Chapel at Resthaven. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Resthaven Funeral Home.
