Brown, Antonia
“Toni”, 100, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
She was born February 9, 1912 in Oklahoma City to Anton and Frances (Babik)
Jaronek.
From the 1930's, Toni and her husband, Martin owned and operated Brown's Coins
and Stamps. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, their Altar
Society and St. Anthony's Guild. In the 1970's they retired to their farm in
Norman where they gardened and raised cattle. She volunteered at Norman
Regional Hospital and knitted hats for newborns. She enjoyed playing cards,
yahtzee, cooking for her family and working outside. Toni was the life of the
party and was always making plans so that her family could get together. The
water fights instigated by Toni will be missed by all of her family and friends
and the grandchildren will miss the Easter Egg hunts.
Toni is survived by her sons, David Brown and wife Marguerite of Celeste, TX,
James Brown and wife Ludo of Tulsa, and Martin Richard Brown, Jr. and wife
Margaret of Goosecreek, South Carolina; daughter, Dr. Nancy Brown of Noble;
brother, Rudy Jaronek and wife Josephine of Norman; sister, Frances Link of
