Doris Ann Scarbrough, 77, of Norman died Monday, Jan. 30. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Newalla with Evangelist Fanning Young officiating. Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Scarbrough was born Dec. 25, 1928, in Stillwater, to Lonnie Arlen and Alpha Eva (Stich) Hall. She married Bobby Vernon Scarbrough Jan. 21, 1949, in Stillwater. Family members say Mrs. Scarbrough was loved by all who knew her.
Mrs. Scarbrough was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Bobby Vernon Scarbrough Jr.; brother Marion Hall; and an infant great-granddaughter.
Mrs. Scarbrough is survived by her daughters Judith Scarbrough, Patricia Wilson and husband Don and Sandra Burns, all of Noble; brother Wendall Hall of Moore; sisters Norma Wells of Norman and Wanda Saviers of Greenacres, Wash.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Honorary bearers will be Michael Hunt, Larry Mobley, Donald Wilson, Neal and Tom Synnott and Jarred Shobert.
