Wells, Norma Sue
went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, February 28,
2012. She was born on November 28, 1926 in Stillwater, OK to Lonnie and Alvie
Hall.
She married the love of her life, Winford Wells in 1949 and in 1951 they moved
to Norman, OK. She retired from food service at Griffin Memorial Hospital after
30 years of service. She was a member of Liberty Gospel Tabernacle in
Slaughtersville. She was loved by all who knew her.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Winford Wells; sister, Doris
Scarbrough and brother Marion Hall.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda and
John Turner of Yukon, OK and Debbie and Dallas Burt of Norman; sister, Wanda Saviers of Greenacres, WA; brother, Wendel Hall of Norman, OK; three
grandchildren, Tom Collins, Amy Butikofer and Ashley Turner; three step
grandchildren, Marian Broomhall, Roland Burt and Mark Burt; ten great
grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2012
at Havenbrook Funeral Home.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 5, 2012 in the Chapel of the
Havenbrook Funeral Home with interment following in the
I.O.O.F. Cemetery of Norman.
