Trammell, Delbert,
67, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born
January 11, 1945 in Dallas, Texas to Rudolph and Lilly (Stewart) Trammell.
Delbert attended Shawnee public schools. He was united in marriage on April 26,
1965 in Weatherford, Oklahoma to Shirley Ann Cope. He made his profession as a
mechanic and enjoyed collecting cars, telling jokes and wrestling.
Delbert is survived by his wife, Shirley of the home; five sons, Vernon Trammell
of Ada, OK, Delbert Trammell of Florida, Earl Trammell, Randall Trammell and
John Trammell all of OKC; two daughters, Malinda Varney and husband David of
Florida and Cesanie Stephens of OKC; two brothers, Harold Trammell and wife
Charlene of Norman and Randall Trammell and wife Nancy of Washington, OK; three
sisters, Barbara Lutts and husband Leon, Carol Trammell both of Slaughterville,
OK and Linda Garrison of Sand Springs, OK; 11 grandchildren, Amanda Sapp,
Heather Moore, Lori Clibourne, Chad Trammell, Sarah Trammell, Amber Stephens,
Shaunna Reno, Deanna Trammell, Cody Trammell, Ashley Trammell, and Mari
Trammell; and 9 great grandchildren, Aaron Moore, Ashlyn Moore, Averi Sapp,
Austin Moore, Maci Sapp, Rhiley Robb, Malikai Reno, Destiny Trammell and Joshua
Trammell.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Eugene Trammell.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 18, 2012 in the Chapel of the
Havenbrook Funeral Home with interment
following in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery of Norman. Arrangements for Delbert
and his family were placed in the care of the Vice Family at Havenbrook Funeral
Home of Norman.
