Roberta Pedigo, 85, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away June 17, 2008, in Norman. Family will receive family and friends from 5:30 P.M., until 7:30P.M. on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Havenbrook Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, June 20, 2008, at the Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dick House officiating. Services are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
Mrs Pedigo was born in Guthrie, OK on April 21, 1923. As a young child, she moved with her family to Ponca City, OK, where she graduated from Ponca City High School in 1941. After graduation, Roberta worked in a jewelry store, dress shop, and Continental Refinery. She married Earl Pedigo in 1947. They moved to Norman in 1948. They had three children: Dennis, Russell, and Valorie. Roberta was a homemaker and later worked with her husband in his building business. Roberta enjoyed cooking for her family, dancing, reading, doing crafts, and crossword puzzles. She was a loving and supportive Mother and Grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Her giggles and laughter will not be forgotten.

Mrs Pedigo was preceded in death by her parents, D.D. and Lula Dale Webb, brother, Chili Webb, and sisters, Muriel Jones and Frances Polwort. She is survived by her sons, Dennis Pedigo of Shawnee,OK, and Russell Pedigo of Norman; daughter, Valorie Wakefield and husband, Bill of Norman; granddaughter, Becca Vermelis and husband, Imants, and grandson, Greg Pryor, all of Norman; sister, Nila Fern Novak of Lawrence, KS; brother, Victor Webb of Ponca City, OK, and sister-in-law, Dorothy Webb of Stillwater, OK, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to The Arbor House of Norman, OU Foundation-The Pride of Oklahoma Scholarship Fund, or the Norman Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center.
