Miller,
James "Jim" Demoss, 63, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012 in Noble,
Oklahoma. He was born September 18, 1948 in Enid, Oklahoma to Robert
and Evelyn (Kight) Miller.
Jim served his country in the United States Marine Corp serving during
Vietnam. He was a Certified Physicians Assistant (OPAC) in the
Orthopedic Sports Medicine field for 40 years retiring in 2007. Jim
enjoyed duck and turkey hunting; driving his land cruiser, riding
motorcycles, and working on cars. He loved joking with his family and
spending time with his children and grandson. One of his favorite times
was drinking coffee on the back porch and watching the sunrise.
Jim is survived by his son, Jeff Miller of Tulsa, OK; two daughters,
Jaime Miller and husband Bibby of Norman and Jaclyn Miller of Michigan;
two brothers, David Miller and wife Rayma of Edmond and Bob Miller and
wife Kathy of Garber; one sister, Julie Shaw and husband Harold of Enid,
OK; and one grandchild, Ayden Miller of Norman.
He is preceded in death
by his paternal grandparents, Arthur and Nellie Miller; maternal
grandparents, Demoss and Verna Romine; his parents, R. D. “Dale” and
Evelyn Miller; and niece, Nancy Miller.
Visitation will be held 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 26, 2012
at Havenbrook Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 27, 2012 in the
Chapel of the Havenbrook Funeral Home with interment following in the
I.O.O.F. Cemetery of Norman. Arrangements for Jim and his family
were placed in the care of the Vice family at the Havenbrook Funeral
Home of Norman.
