Ron Fudge, 74,
passed away November 10, 2010 at Bellevue Health and Rehabilitation Center in
Oklahoma City. He was born October 31, 1936 in New Sharon, Iowa to Arthur M.
Fudge and Eva Gail Fisher.
Ron attended school at New Sharon High School, Iowa and graduated with the Class
of 1954. After that, he attended Texas Tech and earned a Bachelor's degree in
Accounting and Business Administration in May 1975. Ron served in the United
State's Air Force.
He was a Paint Gun Repairman for General Motors and retired in 1999 with 30
years of service. He was a member of PI Lambda PHI and one of the organizers
of the UAW Union, Local 1999, in the General Motors Plant, Oklahoma City. Ron
enjoyed model trains, golf, bowling, fishing, traveling. He cherished his
memories of Romeo and Amanda, his Old English Sheep dogs.
He is preceded in
death by his parents and one step-son, Michael Marsley.
He is survived by his wife Colette of the home; one daughter; Holly K. Nelson
and her husband, John of Borger, Texas; two step sons: Bruce Marsley of Norman
and Jeffrey Marsley of Oklahoma City; two brothers: Arthur Fudge and wife his
Betty, of Edgewood Iowa and Larry Fudge and his wife Patty of Attica, Iowa; two
grandchildren: Mika Charlene Sells of Amarillo, Texas and Landon Jay Sells of
Borger, Texas; one great-greatdaughter Dakota Aleene Amburn of Amarillo, Texas:
three step-grandchildren: Christina Marsley, Justin Marsley and Andrew Marsley:
and two nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 13, 2010 in The
Chapel of The Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook Street, Norman, Oklahoma
under the direction of The Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma.
