Earl D. DeArman,
86, passed away Monday, December 6, 2010 at Norman Veteran's Center.
He was
born April 21, 1924 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to D DeArman and Eva (Graham)
DeArman. Earl married Joyce Crawford on November 27, 1947 in Tishamingo, OK.
Earl was raised on a farm and attended school in the Pauls Valley area. He
moved to Norman in 1935 from Pauls Valley. Earl began his career in
Construction which continued for 28years. He was a Commercial Construction
Superintendent for Lippert Brothers Construction Company before retiring in
1988. Earl served his country in the United States Merchant Marines in World
War II.
Earl's top priority was his family. He enjoyed traveling the country side with
Joyce by his side. He also loved caring for his rose and vegetable garden and
horse racing.
Earl is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Joyce of 59 years.
He is survived by his three daughters; Linda DeArman of Oklahoma City, OK, Nancy
DeArman-Lockwood and husband, Dennis of Humble, TX, Kay Casey of Norman, OK;
one sister; Bobbie Jo and husband A.C. McHughes of Norman, OK; two
grandchildren; Shelby Parr and Nicholas Casey; one niece, DeAnn Pollard; one
nephew, Terry McHughes.
Visitation will be held at Havenbrook Funeral Home,
December 9, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family to receive friends from
6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 10, 2010 at the
Havenbrook Funeral Chapel, 3401 Havenbrook Street in Norman, Oklahoma under the
direction of the Havenbrook Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at IOOF Cemetery
in Norman, OK.
