Bobbie Mozell Davis, age 79 of Norman passed away on May 16, 2017.

Bobbie was born September 23, 1937 in Whitesboro, OK. to Elijah and Mollie Ann (Fields) Johnson. Bobbie grew up in Whitesboro where she attended Whitesboro schools, graduating in 1955. After graduation, Bobbie moved to the big city of OKC where she worked for Home State Insurance- which later became American General, for twenty-five years.  Bobbie then worked for Phillips Oil Company for eleven years, retiring in 1992.  In the summer of 1956, Bobbie met a handsome man named Jimmy. They were introduced by mutual friends. Bobbie and Jim were married October 12, 1957. They would have celebrated their “60th” wedding anniversary this October. Bobbie and Jim enjoyed spending time with friends and family and supporting OU football, basketball, and softball. Bobbie was a charter member of the Norman Firefighters wives Auxiliary and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. One of Bobbie’s favorite hobbies was spending time with her grandchildren.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah and Mollie Ann, sisters Maureen Pender, Mary Johnson, and Betty Littleton, brothers Sylvester and J.W., and great niece Mollie Ann Madden.

Bobbie is survived by her husband Jim, daughter Kim Isaac, son in law Michael, grandchildren Aaron, Ashleigh, and Aimee Isaac, Kennedy Shahan, great-grand daughter Aiden Mae Isaac, sister Joy Wilson, brother Detroy Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Friday, May 19th, 11:00 A.M. at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Bruce Ingram. Interment following at IOOF Cemetery in Norman OK.
