Linda Lucritia (Gill) Crump
1952 - 2012
NORMAN — Linda Lucritia Crump, age 59, of Moore, passed away Feb. 24, 2012. She was born Aug. 8, 1952, in Norman. Linda was a warrior. She fought the battle for 17 years. Linda was the survivor of two kidney transplants. She enjoyed Dr. Pepper, making ceramics, and growing plants. Linda enjoyed fishing and fishing for crawdads. She had a heart of gold when it came to helping others, and many times she would put them ahead of her health. Linda enjoyed the holidays and decorating. She was a homemaker all of her life. Her first love was her family, especially her sons and grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her husband Leon Crump, of the home; two sons, Bryan Crump, Brandon Crump and his fiancée Sondra of Moore, granddaughters Ava and Sarena, three brothers, Bobby Gill and wife, Mary Lee, Carl Gill and wife DeeAnn and Gary Gill and wife Joyce, all of Norman; one sister, Mary Terry and husband Pat, of Oklahoma City; and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Mary Gill. We would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at St. Anthony’s Hospital, especially Dr. Toma, for the loving support and care they provided.
The family will receive friends and family for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, in Moore. Interment to follow at Norman IOOF Cemetery, in Norman. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home.
