Kathleen Campbell,
90, passed away July 1, 2013. Kathleen was born November 16, 1922 in Topeka,
Kansas to Jess Samuel and LaVina Ann (Newell) Hurley. She had worked as a
bookkeeper for the Cleveland County OSU Extension Center as well as First State
Bank of Noble. She attended the University Church of Christ where she enjoyed
teaching Sunday School. Kathleen loved to garden and enjoyed all types of
crafting including sewing, painting and quilting, however, her favorite times
where those spent with her family, all of whom she loved dearly.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; husband Boyce Campbell, and
brothers Darl and Bud Hurley.
Survivors include her sister Gloria Steinbach and husband Leonard of Topeka, KS;
son Larry Campbell and wife Nancy of Norman; grandchildren Angela and Raymond
Camp of Norman, Michelle DeVine of Norman, Shauna and husband Scott Gipe of
Caledonia, MI, Buddy DeVine of Norman, Jayme Minson of Norman, and Brian Minson
of Norman; great grandchildren Madison Camp, Kyra McFarland, Dominic Camp, Robby
Jones, Adler Minson, Tanner Gipe, and Trinity Gipe.
The family would like to thank Carter Hospice, especially Kelly, for the loving
care given to Kathleen.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5pm-7pm. Services are 10:00 AM Friday at the
Havenbrook Chapel with interment to follow at
I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norman.
Arrangements for Kathleen and her family were placed in the care of the
Vice family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
