Brower,
Loyd, 65, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 in Norman, Oklahoma. He was
born July 8, 1946 in Lamesa, Texas to Noble and Eva (Deatherage)
Brower. Loyd was united in marriage on May 26, 1973 to Vicky Bruton in
Brownfield, Texas.
Loyd grew up and attended school in Brownfield, TX later moving to
Norman. He was a self employed carpenter and framer. He enjoyed
building things, cooking, and watching tv. He was a great man and loved
serving people and the Lord.
He is survived by his wife, Vicky of the home; two sons, Nathan Brower
and Travis Brower; one daughter, Ranee Brower all of Norman; and three
sisters, Tonia Suggs of Brownfield, TX, Debbie Durham and husband
Stephen of Edmond, and Kenetha Lingle and husband David of Fredrick, OK.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to City Rescue Mission, 800 W. California Ave.,
OKC, OK 73106. Graveside
services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2012 in the I.O.O.F.
Cemetery of Norman. Arrangements for Loyd and his family were
placed in the care of the Vice Family at Havenbrook Funeral Home of
Norman.
