Bogle, Clyde D., 74, lifelong resident of Norman, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011in Norman.  He was born December 19, 1936 in Norman to Max and Guin (Sollenberger) Bogle. 

Clyde served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge on December 31, 1963.  He was united in marriage to Miss Dorothy Willard on May 2, 1964 in Norman.  They were happily married for 46 years.  Clyde was very proud of his family.  He often spoke of his son and family.

Clyde retired from Oklahoma Natural Gas Company as an accounts receivable supervisor in 2001 after twenty years of employment.  He owned and operated residential and commercial rental real estate as well as coordinated drivers for Reynold's Ford. Clyde was a member of First Christian Church in Norman for forty-six years and served as a Deacon.

Clyde enjoyed fishing and University of Oklahoma sports, especially football.  He coached his sons little league football teams.  Clyde was a good friend and always a good listener.  He will be remembered by his family and friends as a wonderful, kind, gentle, and honest man. 

Clyde is survived by his wife, Dorothy of the home; one son, Bill Bogle and his wife Melissa of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Max Bogle and Sabrina Bogle, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Donald Bogle.

The Bogle Family will greet friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm,  Sunday, March 13, 2011 at the Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook Street in Norman.

Funeral services will be begin at 1:00 pm  Monday, March 14, 2011 at the First Christian Church, 220 South Webster in Norman.

Interment will conclude in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norman under the direction of the Havenbrook Funeral Home. 

Memorial Donations may be made in memory of Clyde D. Bogle to the First Christian Church, 220 South Webster, Norman, OK 73069.
