Irene Maria
Bicknell, of Norman, passed away April 5, 2017 at the age of 84. Irene was born
November 27, 1932 in Nittenau, Germany to Otto and Maria (Stangl) Pantoulier.
Irene worked in the public school system and loved all of the children at the
school. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking cookies and cakes and going to the
casino.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Wesley Bicknell, Jr. in 1983, as
well as her parents.
Survivors include her son Randy Bicknell, daughter Rainie
Bicknell, granddaughter Heather Bicknell, sisters Johanna Sterr and husband Fred
and Helma Cole and husband Wes, and her beloved dog Mindy. She will also be
greatly missed by her best friend and neighbor, Wanda Odom.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 2-8 pm at Havenbrook Funeral Home
in Norman.
Graveside services to celebrate her life will be 10:00 am Monday,
April 10, 2017 at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norman.
