Lillie Belle Bennett, 93, of Norman OK passed away peacefully into the heavens on Saturday, May 27, 2017.

Lillie was born on August 20, 1923 in Choctaw, OK to Arthur O. and Nellie E. Kleeman. Lillie Belle lived her life as a faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church where she loved Bible Study. Throughout Lillie’s life she enjoyed working as a clerk at the Humpty Dumpty and at the County Election Board as an inspector. Lillie also loved gardening and sewing.

Lillie was survived by her daughter, Cindy Gail Bennett; two sisters: Hazel Lorain Huggins and Anna Oleta Butler and one brother, Willie Joe Kleeman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alphaeus O. Bennett; sisters: Lucille Marie Waggoner and Emma Louise Smith and two brothers, Leo Howard Kleeman and Charley Lee Kleeman.

Viewing will be Friday, June 2, 2017 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Havenbrook Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10:00 am at First Assembly of God Church, 2500 E. Lindsey St., Norman, OK with burial to follow at Noble I.O.O. F. Cemetery.
