Michael Wallace Ayres died May 11, 2016 in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Michael was born July 14, 1963 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated from Southeastern University. Continuing the legacy of his father, Michael was in the insurance business where he worked for State Farm for 27 years. He had never met a stranger, would give a shirt off his back to anyone without expecting anything in return and never spoke a bad word about anyone. Michael loved his family, fishing, playing golf, gardening and his dog Red.
He is survived by his mother, Sandra K. Ayres of Norman, Oklahoma; daughter, Ashton Ayres of San Jose, California; brother, sister-in-law and nephew, Greg, Leslie and Clayton Ayres of Sulphur, Oklahoma; grandmother, Mildred Wallace of Norman, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael "Dillon" Ayres; father,
Michael E. Ayres; grandfather, Fred Wallace; grandparents, Ernest and Lavada
Ayres.
Arrangements will be held by Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook St.
Norman, Oklahoma.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 17 at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, 1913 N. Porter, Norman, Oklahoma with Pastor Ron Pracht officiating.
