Nettie Marie Bettes-Tamez, 83, of Noble, passed away June 25, 2013. 

Nettie was born January 5, 1930 in Corbett, Oklahoma to Walter and Polly (Slaughter) Berry. 

She dedicated her life to taking care of her family and providing them with a warm and loving home.  Nettie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Cindy Long; spouses J.W. Bettes and Abel Tamez. 

Survivors include sons Willis Bettes and wife Kay, Terry Bettes and wife Nacy; daughters Kathy Blanchard and husband Chester; sister Katherine Dodge; Grandchildren Jay, Brad, Leslie, Blake, and Gabby; and Great Grandchildren Bryce, Camden, Gracie, Bailey, Megan, and Jacob. 

Services are 10:00 AM Friday at Slaughterville Baptist Church, 10101 60th  Lexington, Oklahoma 73051, with interment to follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Noble, Oklahoma.  Arrangements for Nettie and her family were placed in the care of the Vice family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
