Sharp, Barbara
Ann, 77, passed away Monday, September 12, 2011 in Noble, Oklahoma. She was
born December 4, 1933 in Noble to Carl and Melva (York) Webber.
Barbara graduated from Noble High School and moved to Kansas City, Missouri
where she married Duane Sharp. They later moved to Shawnee, OK. Barbara was an
assembly worker for Tinker Air Force Base until a hand injury led to an early
retirement. After retirement, she moved to Norman to be close to family. She
has resided in Norman for the past 31 years. She was an avid OU, Dallas Cowboys
and Thunder fan and loved watching Tiger Woods play golf. Barbara loved
traveling with her mother.
She is survived by her daughter, Ronda Loveless of Noble; one sister, Betty
Blair and husband Bill of Norman; and daughter-in-law, Michele Sharp of Noble.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Keith Sharp; son-in-law, Thomas
Loveless and long time companion, Harold Terry.
Memorials may be made to Robinson Street Baptist Church, 801 E. Robinson St.,
Norman, OK 73071.
Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2011
with the family greeting friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Havenbrook Funeral
Home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 15, 2011 in the
Chapel of the Havenbrook Funeral Home with interment following in the
I.O.O.F. Cemetery of Noble.
Arrangements for Barbara and her family were placed in the care of the Vice
Family at Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
