Bobbie June Brinkley, 84, passed away September 27, 2013. Bobbie was born August 1, 1929 in Lexington, Oklahoma to Bob and Ophelia (Waddle) McAlister.
She worked for
Brinkley Furniture in Norman for many years. After her retirement, she
dedicated her life to taking care of her family and providing them with a warm
and loving home. She was very artistic, loved doing different crafts, and was a
talented seamstress.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Bob D. Brinkley; daughter, Sherri
Lynn Brinkley; brother, Larry McAlister.
Survivors include her son Michael Brinkley and wife Lynda Donley; sister, Billie Ketner and husband Frank; sister-in-law Rosaline McAlister; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Noble
Healthcare and Faith Hospice, especially the kindness shown by special nurses
Angel, Michelle, and Peggy Sue.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, September 30, 2013 at
Noble I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Arrangements for Bobbie and her family were placed in the care of the
Vice family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
