Sandra Adams, age 70 of Norman, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015. Sandra Rae Miller was born November 12, 1944 in Pauls Valley, OK, the older of two children born to Raymond James and Ruby Lucille (Richmond) Miller. She was raised in Wayne and attended school there, graduating in 1962. Sandra then attended Business School in Oklahoma City. She began working as a Legal Secretary and spent several years working in Purcell for Ray Wilson. On July 2, 1977, Sandra married her best friend and soul mate, Mr. Troy Wayne Adams. They made their home on the family farm near Wayne, until moving to Norman in 2004 due to failing health. Sandra enjoyed traveling and never missed an opportunity to read a good book. She was a wonderful wife and mother and she cherished her grandkids. Sandra was an avid sports fan, and traveled many a mile cheering for her grandsons. She will be dearly missed!
She was preceded in death by: Her husband, Troy Adams; Her parents, Raymond and Ruby Miller and Her brother, Terry Lynn Miller.
Sandra leaves behind: Her son, Parnell Adams and wife Tresa of Stillwater; 5 grandchildren, Brent Higgins, Sawyer Adams, Conner Adams, Parker Adams and Payton Beech; Her parents-in-law, Troy and Vera Adams of Lindsay, OK; Sister-in-law, Beverly Mabry and husband Dean of Moore and A host of other family and friends.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 16, 2015, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Noble I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
