Funeral services for Dorothy Thornhill were held at noon February 11, 1994 at the South Colonial Chapel. Burial was held in Moore Cemetery .
Dorothy Glover was born June 2, 1925 in Okmulgee Oklahoma to John and Esther Glover and passed from this life on February 8, 1994. She was married to Delbert Thornhill on August 7, 1943 in Eakley and they had over 50 years of marriage living in Moore.
After retiring from farming, they enjoyed spending winters In the Rio Grande Valley and playing dominoes with special friends. She was a member of the Antioch Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter , Tammy L. Williams.
Survivors include husband Delbert, daughter Dianna and Leon Burwell of Oklahoma City; son and his wife Darrell and Terri Thornhill of Moore; grandchildren Scott Williams , Kristen and Tyler Thornhill of Moore; brother Mel Glover of Norman; sister Jean Haynes of El Reno; brother in law and his wife Cecil and Bernita Thornhill; sister in law Marion Thornhill ; and several nieces and nephews.
