Wanda Mae Castleberry, 86, was born March 15, 1929 at Shidler, Oklahoma to Harry & Stella (Smith) Annin. She was called to her Heavenly home on December 4, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
In 1948 Wanda met and married her husband James Castleberry while she was going to nursing school. Wanda put her nursing career on hold and became a faithful wife, homemaker and mother.
In 1974, after Wanda raised her two sons, she returned to Nursing School and fulfilled her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse. After serving as an RN for many years, Wanda retired from St. Anthony Hospital. Wanda loved Nursing. In fact Wanda spent her lifetime caring and nursing for all of her family. Wanda loved her family deeply and she will be greatly missed.
Wanda was preceded in death by: Her parents; Her sister Harriet and her brother Van.
She is survived by: Her husband of 65 years, James of the home;Sons, Jim and Gina Castleberry and Dennis and Sue Castleberry;Sisters, Patty Clement and Frances Bryant; Three grandchildren, Carolyn, Stacy and Faith; Three great grandchildren, Natalie, Garrett and Dylan.
