Kathryn "Katie" Michelle
Stubblefield, 14, of Little Axe passed away Wednesday December 23, 2015. She was
born on December 12, 2001 in Norman, Oklahoma to Ryan and Michelle (Whitaker)
Stubblefield.
She grew up in the Little Axe Area and attended Little Axe Public Schools.
Katie enjoyed playtime with family, playing with beads, the Special Olympics,
swimming, roller coasters, campfires, and sneaking anyone's soda pop. She will
be greatly missed and always remembered by many friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Dimicie Richard & Slyvia
Whitaker, maternal uncle: Vernon Keith Whitaker. Kathryn is survived by her
parents; brother, Ethan James Stubblefield; sister, Sarah Richardson-Williams;
paternal grandparents; Jim and Denise Stubblefield; her uncles Scott and Jason
Stubblefield; and her aunts Tana and Angie Stubblefield, and Shana Rains.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2016 at Alameda Church of
Christ in Norman, officiated by Rusty Tugman, 801 E. Alameda in Norman with
interment following at Fairview Maguire Cemetery in Noble.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made in Kathryn Michelle
Stubblefield's memory to the Little Axe Special Olympics Team (at 2000 168th
Ave. NE, Norman OK 73026) and/or the Oklahoma Special Olympics. (at
