Nadine K. Michael, “Meme” was the oldest of 6 children born to Wm (Bill) and Maggie (Rider) McCalip in 1926. Nadine graduated from Noble High School with the class of 1944. She and Charles Michael were married and made their home in Norman, Noble, and later moved to Moore where Nadine began her 37 year career for the 7-11 Corporation, beginning in 1968. Nadine loved the Lord and was a faithful member of First Moore Baptist Church over 15 years. She was the sweetest, kindest person and had a huge heart and would do anything for family, friends or neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mike; 3 infant siblings; two brothers Glenn and Leonard McCalip.
Those who survive her include 3 sons Jimmy Michael (Gloria), Bill Michael
(Kelli), David Michael (Kristy); 2 daughters Kathy Rollins (Al), Sue Lynch
(Kenny); 8 Grandchildren Michael Rollins, Teresa Rollins-Emery, Kristina
Harris, Robert Michael, Melissa Michael, Derek Michael, Lindsey Johnson,
Amber Altum, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great- great grandchildren, 1 sister
in-law Judy McCalip, 1 aunt Mae Irene Carpenter and many other relatives.
Meme, you will be forever in our hearts!
Visitation will be 4-8 pm Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel. Services to celebrate her life will be 10 am Friday, November 20, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Moore. Interment will follow at Fairview-McGuire Cemetery in Noble, OK.
